Operation is manual (hand crank) or motorized — see our Motorized Awnings page for the automated upgrade. Wind sensors automatically retract motorized awnings when gusts exceed a configurable threshold, protecting both the fabric and the hardware. Sun sensors extend the awning when sun intensity hits the configured level.
