Blind installation is more than mounting brackets and snapping in the headrail. Wood blinds need proper anchor placement in wall studs or blocking. Plaster walls (common in older Pittsburgh homes) need different anchors than drywall. Inside-mount vs outside-mount affects the whole look. Within blind installation we cover every blind type — real wood, faux wood, horizontal aluminum and vinyl, vertical, panel-track, bamboo, and cordless versions of each. Standard install includes mounting hardware appropriate for your wall type (we bring plaster anchors, toggle bolts, and standard drywall anchors). For motorized blinds we also handle app pairing, scene programming, and integration with smart-home hubs.
Install also includes removal of old blinds (we haul away). Tilt-rod balance and pull-cord tensioning calibration is included. If anything doesn't operate smoothly after install, we adjust before we leave.
